Why can’t I delete my account?
According to the Data Deletion Instructions, users are able to irreversibly delete their account with a few clicks. Some users may try to follow those instructions and find the options are not listed in their menu system. This is because accounts with Administrator access cannot be self-deleted unless they are demoted in the system. This protect our site from dire consequences from the deletion of critical accounts.
If you have an admin account and still want to proceed with account deletion, please contact the Support Team so they can work on doing this in a way that will not damage the site or community.
