“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
Proverbs 22:6 NIV
Devotional
Educators carry a heavy role of instructing and guiding children of all ages. Educators set the tone and expectation that children are to follow alongside parents. What happens when we allow the enemy to infiltrate spaces of education? What happens when we compromise truth to make room for an agenda not aligned with God? The name of God is slowly but evidently being stripped in public schools. Agendas that make evil look good are filling the empty seats of education everywhere. It is time for the Warriors of Christ to decree the name of Jesus in public school environments. May we do it with boldness and confidence. Time to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9). Time to be bold in faith and believe that He has the power to raise up the next generation to Him (Ephesians 6:10). Believe that God can uphold you and use you (Isaiah 41:10)! Let’s boldly pray for God to be placed back in spaces that He was never meant to be taken out of.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for creating me for such a time. Right now, I pray for the public education system. May you build up bold teachers, assistants, and any school staff that will surround children in schools with prayer. May they be led by You to be an example of Christ. God forgive those who have tried to take You out of classrooms. We pray that You are placed in the right spaces at the right time. May we be intentional on raising up a generation that loves You. In Jesus name, Amen!
