“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” Joshua 3:5
Many people see the 250th Anniversary of the United States as an opportunity to offer up our lives, our relationships, and our land to the Lord. There’s even a huge official event in Washington DC on May 17th for this very purpose called Rededicate 250. CoMission and RadicalNow! by Camp Deerpark are praying for the Lord to have his will in this area to bring glory to his name and renewal to his Children. We’re going to pray each day from the day after the National Day of Prayer — from May 8 till the Rededication on May 17 — 10 days for prayer in preparation for what the Lord may do.
This kind of preparation is CONSECRATION — setting apart ourselves and our lives as sacred to the Lord. When Joshua (Joshua 3) called the nation of Israel to move into the Lord’s promise for their lives, he told them to consecrate themselves because the barriers ahead were about to be removed.
STARTING May 8 — with the devotional RETURN TO THE GOSPEL: The Apostles’ Teachings — a new devotional will be published here daily at 1:00 AM ET. Our challenge will complete on May 17, the day of The Freedom 250 Rededication, but these devotions will remain published for your future encouragement.
