@bopbop made a suggested follow-up questions that we could put on the group text: “What kind of blocks do you encounter as you write?”

We’ve completed these activities: Mind’s Eye Map, Cardinal Directions, Simon Says, Nickel Navigation and Journal Activity.

Mind’s Eye Map was really fun. it is good for all ages and good for rainy days.

Cardinal Directions is good for all ages but might feel boring for teens that have done it already. We did this activity outside on a sunny day but you can also do this inside on a rainy day.

Simon Says was very fun. It can be played inside or outside.

We had trouble with Nickel Navigation. It took a couple of tries to get to our original marker. Overall it was a good game.

The kids were most excited about the Journal Activity. Joseph mapped our friends and family around the country. Caleb mapped the house.

On a sunny day we would like to test them. Some of them being Compass Quest (Geocaching), Nickel Navigation and Minds Eye. We did a little Minds Eye practice and are waiting for said sunny day so we can leave the living room.

We read through the article and graded the activity’s. We think it would be great for the campers. Here is the document.
