This is so good, Susan! I agree that dying to self is where the love begins to flow. Recently, I have been reading a book called, Gospel Treason. The premise is that our hidden idols keep us from experiencing healthy relationships. Sometimes we are so focused on the other person changing that we miss the treasures on our journey.

Terry, thank you for investing in the well-being of others by doing the tough work required. I agree with Ben, this outline has the blueprint for a map addressing the whole person. Addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the person, while understanding that each one affects the other is foundational to mental health. Thank you for sharing your work and journey as this work continues to unfold to the glory of God!
