Blessed be our God. He is worthy of all praise.

The Lord has rescued me from the darkness.

He has lifted me from the recesses of my own mind.

He has saved me from the depths of depression and despair.

He has planted my feet on high ground.

His words of truth are a rock and firm foundation.

What have I to do with this world of darkness and destruction?

If I am rejected in this world, I am greatly loved in God’s kingdom.

If all those around me should abandon me, I am secure in His arms.
