Scheduled Post
Scheduled Post refers to a Post that is not published immediately on the RadicalNow! Platform. A Blog Post, Timeline (Activity) Post, KnowledgeBase Entry can be a Scheduled Post. This allows users to add content now that will appear at a specified date and time in the future. This is especially useful when using creating campaigns of content for a process of Community Management and/or for building Community Engagement.
Scheduling A Timeline (Activity) Post
- Click the “Share what’s on your mind…” or “Share something with the group…” box.
- In the dialog that appears, create your post like normal.
- Instead of clicking the “Post” button, click the timer icon to its left.
- From the menu that appears, select “Schedule Post”.
- A dialog will appear where you can set the date and time to publish the Post. When finished, select “Next”.
- Now the button to publish the post will read “Schedule” instead of Post. Press this to schedule your post.
Checking and Editing Scheduled Timeline Posts
You can access a list from your scheduled posts and edit them from the Timeline Post Box.
- Click the “Share what’s on your mind…” or “Share something with the group…” box.
- Clicking the timer icon to its left to the left of the Post button.
- From the menu that appears, select “View Scheduled Posts”.
- You can now review the Scheduled Posts and delete or edit them.
Note: Your list of Scheduled Posts is based on what group your are currently in. If accessing in one group our the main Timeline, Scheduled Posts from another group will not show. Navigate to that group and repeat the process to see Scheduled Posts from that group.
