To get ready for the Fall 2026 Relationship & Resources Retreat, I’ve been posting a lot of Napkin Drawing Tools as the resources I’m bringing to share with everyone.

Here’s some of what I’ve been working on:

• The Compass: I added a bunch of different ways of thinking about and integrating the vertical and horizontal components of identity; the name of YHWH, Imago Dei, MnM (Mission and Ministry, Mercy Mission, etc.
• The Story Zone: didn’t really have any tools posted for this one so I created versions for aspiration/situation, potential/pain, dream/struggle, and added a version showing how the modes of Revelation map to fill the space made by Creative Tension.
• Calling Into Gifts: I had some more complex tools on this one from a retreat I did using the 5P’s of Calling. I posted the base tools of The Equipping Gifts with and without The 5 Domains and added the Church life star.

All these have been greatly helped by the advances included in SOF 3.2.
