Group Organizer
Group Organizer is one of the Roles in the Group function of the Community feature on the RadicalNow! Platform. Group Organizers are automatically selected by creating a group or when a existing Organizer promotes a member to the role. Organizers have a higher level of group control than the similar Group Moderator role.
Group Organizers are responsible for Moderation of their Group according to all RN Policy.
Group Organizers can:
Content Management
- Edit & Delete Their Own Posts — All users can edit or delete posts they create.
- Edit & Delete Their Own Comments — All users can edit or delete comments they create.
- Edit Activity / Timeline Posts — Change any post of the Group Activity Feed / Timeline. There posts can only be deleted by the original poster or an Admin.
- Delete Forum Posts to Timeline Not Their Own — Notices of Discussion Forum activity can be deleted from the Timeline / Activity Feed.
- Turn Commenting On / Off for Posts — Select whether to close comments on a post.
- Edit and Delete Comments Not Their Own — Change or remove any other user’s comments.
- Pin Posts to the Group Timeline — Use the Pin feature to connect a post to the top of the Group Timeline.
- Move and Delete Photos
- Create Albums — And move photos to them (see above).
- Manage Discussion Forum Topics — Edit, Close, Merge, and mark discussions as Spam.
- Manage Discussion Forum Replies — Edit, Move, Split, and mark discussions as Spam.

Group Management
- Change the Group Details — Change the Group Name and Description (and select whether to report these changes to Group members).

- Manage Privacy Options — Should the group be Public, Private, or Hidden?
- Select Who can Send Invites
- Select Who can Post to the Activity Feed / Timeline
- Select Who can Upload Photos
- Select Who can Create Albums
- Select Who can Upload Documents
- Choose a Parent Group — Should this be a sub-group of another group?

- Add / Change Group Branding — Manage the Group photo which appears on all posts and listings and the group Cover which appears at the top of Group pages and Forums. See

- Manage Forum — Set whether the Group will have a discussion forum.
This task is located in [Group] > Manage >> Forum
- Sync Group to LearnDash Group — RN Platform has a integrated Courses system. By syncing their group to a LearnDash Group, Organizers can create collections of courses for their group.
This task is located in [Group] > Manage >> [#] Courses
- Delete the Group — Totally remove the Group and Delete all it’s content. This cannot be undone!
This task is located in [Group] > Manage >> Delete
Member Management
- Kick & Ban Members — This removes users from the group and prevents them from joining again.
- Promote / Demote Members — Select members for either the Organizer or Moderator role or demote members from these roles to a regular member.
- Remove Members from Group — This removes members from the group, but does not prevent them from joining again. This is useful for unused memberships and pruning the group to active members.

- Approve or Deny Join Requests — When a group is set to Private or Hidden, approve membership requests.

- Invite Users — Send email and RN Notification invites to RN site users to become Group Members.
